Cooling & Serving
Icebox was delighted to help bring a flavour of the ‘French Riviera’ to London last week with an array of cooling ice creations for the V&A’s Summer Soiree 2019.
Basked in the evening sunlight, the V&A’s beautiful John Madjeski courtyard garden provided a stunning backdrop to the French themed event. Industry professionals enjoyed meandering around the uplit fountains of the courtyard whilst enjoying tasty treats from the authentic French market stalls, champagne, rose and cocktails from the pop-up bars and a VIP experience in ‘La Caprice’ Beach Club. Fresh Oysters were offered to guests from perfectly chilled buckets of crushed ice as they wandered around to the honeyed melodies of Hotel Costes styled entertainment from Sternberg Clark.
Working with Urban Caprice, Icebox designed elegant ‘Urban Cabana” ice station to display the fresh oysters with the Urban Caprice logo engraved in white. A large hand carved bespoke ‘La Caprice’ wine bath filled with Hoshizaki cubed ice stood at the entrance to the La Caprice Beach Club and a 1m x 1m V&A logo wall stood at the entrance of the museum in front of the circular bar.
The most commented on ice creations were our 5cm V&A logo ice cubes which decorated each glass of rose plus our 300 x lemon and viola cubes and 200 x lavender and lime for the luscious cocktails.
We were delighted to be involved with the glorious event amongst the brilliant suppliers: Urban Caprice , Velvet Living , Pinstripes & Peonies, Fisher Productions , Sternberg Clark, Blackwall Hire , Two by Two Photography & Film, POPS
