To raise awareness of homelessness over Christmas, Penny Appeal commissioned Icebox to carve ice sculpture figures to represent the “five families that become homeless every hour in the UK”.  The ice figures were photographed within a studio and then and used in online and printed promotional material and adverts, designed to provoke people to really see these invisible people on our streets, literally freezing outside whilst we shelter in the warmth.
