Contraband approached Icebox on behalf of their client Inmarsat to create an icy experience which would enrich their two day ICE initiative London conference.  Icebox devised the concept of a three hour live carving performance based on Inmarsat’s I5 satellite.  The Satellite would be carved from a 4m x 2m wall of ice which would include the 4m satellite as well as a 2m x 1m ice planet, shooting stars and galaxies.  The ice sculpture was carved on site to 2001: A Space Odyssey and other space themed music in front of 500 people.
