To celebrate the launch of their newest luxury cruise ship, the Yachts of Seabourn planned a high profile event, to take place on the Thames. The client wanted impact and to deliver something totally unexpected.  Working with the florists, Icebox designed intricate Ice Vases to be positioned on either end of a 3 metre Ice Champagne Bar, with the Seabourn emblem engraved on the front. Ice Cocktail Dispensers and bespoke Ice Caviar Displays were designed to be positioned around the central swimming pool area.

Icebox has worked in unusual events, including boats and cruise ships in the past, however the logistical constraints on this occasion were more unusual. The 32000-ton, 450 guest vessel, was too large to dock anywhere along the Thames. Therefore it was not possible to load the Ice Bar onto the deck on the day of the event.  With just 7 days lead time, Icebox agreed designs and created the ice features, meeting the Seabourn Sojourn as it docked at the port in Dover. The ice sculptures were then carefully loaded into large freezers within the kitchen of the luxury ship.  When it arrived in London the following afternoon, on one of the hottest days of the year, the Icebox team was ferried to the ship to install the ice features on the top deck.  The stunning ice designs were installed seamlessly and the client was thrilled.
