Description: | At the Zoo by A. A. Milne Adapted by Ice Teambuilding “There are lions and roaring tigers, So what happened to 370 Event Professionals when they went down to the zoo? Well, not only did they get the chance to meet Ricky the Rockhopper and Jack the Armadillo, they also got to spin around the merry-go-round, indulge on unusual fusion ice creams, make their own cocktails, dare to put their hands in a box full of creepy crawleys, plaster their faces with stunning animal prints AND have a go at ice carving their very own Ice Zebra Head! The event was all part of ZSL London Zoo’s Summer Showcase event #zoosummer. The evening was meticulously organised by the event team at London Zoo and showcased not only their beautiful refurbished Prince Albert Suite but also all the fabulous extras and sights that the zoo has to offer an event. After regularly holding team building events at London Zoo, Icebox Teambuilding was delighted to be asked to take one of the stands at their showcase and run an ice carving master class for all of their guests. We adapted our standard team building workshop and instead held an open ‘drop in have a go’ ice carving class where guests could come in, pick up a chisel and attack their very own zebra head for a long or as little time as they liked. Thirty minutes into the event, we already had an endless trail of people fighting for a chance to chisel – most of them arriving with a nervous grin and leaving with an enormous smile! Everyone had their chance and boy did they make those minutes count! Creativity levels were high, competitiveness tested and fun was, well, just off the scale! The event was an enormous success for us, especially as it gave a chance for so many event professionals to experience first-hand our exciting and fun ice team building workshop. |
